Place to Learn
is an independently owned and operated learning facility. We offer
tutoring for students of all ages in all subjects. Diagnostic testing
and academic advisement is also available. An individualized program
is designed for each student to meet their academic needs. |

We
offer a wide variety of resources including computers and the availability
of extensive and comprehensive educational software. This, combined
with the attention of our professional staff enables us to state
with confidence that whatever your learning needs, traditional or
non-traditional, you will find Great
Place to Learn really is a great place for people of
all ages to learn.

Both
private and small group tutorials are available. Placement is determined
by the client's specific need or preference.

The lucky classroom was the Kindergarten at the Ethel E. Hammond School, W.Wareham, MA. Darlene McQuade was selected from over fifteen requests based on her eloquent letter. |

| She has over 40 children in her AM & PM classes and, as always, can use supplies and educational toys and games. |

Our
staff of certified teachers and professionals representing the business
and industry sector create a personalized program of study for each
client. Interviews, diagnostic testing, and a review of academic history
enable us to determine an individual's needs and to design a program
to meet those needs. Often, problems in academics are only symptoms
of basic deficiencies which can be corrected once identified. |
| Whenever
possible, tutors incorporate appropriate skill building into completion
of homework and school assignments. Frequently, tutors monitor students'
assignment notebooks, assist in the organization and development of
course notes, oversee the development of term projects and papers,
and prepare students for exams. Great Place
to Learn has established close working relationships
with many area schools in order to more effectively promote our clients'
success. |

Great
Place to Learn
utilizes the services of over fifty certified and qualified individuals
as tutors. As all four centers continue to grow, we are constantly
seeking additional staff.
We welcome applicants who are certified in any area from
K-12 . However, many of our tutors are from the private sector possessing
a strong Math, Science or English background. |

School Math and Science, Reading Specialists and Special Education
teachers are specifically needed at this time. If interested, you
